The experience
The shell does half the work. Follow the spiral with one color, then another, and watch it turn into something that looks far more complicated than it was.

Materials
Plaster figure, water-based non-toxic paints, wooden brush with natural bristles, recycled card box.
Instructions
- Lay down some paper and fill a cup with water.
- Paint the shell along the spiral, then the rest.
- Let it dry for an hour. Then find it a good spot.
Safety
Not suitable for children under 3: contains small parts. Adult supervision recommended. The paints are water-based and wash out of most fabrics while still wet.
